TURTLES  Why will my hatching turtle not eat?
The turtle business is being inundated with new entrepreneurs trying to establish themselves within the reptile market. Buying and selling turtles is about the easiest way to start. Unfortunately, many of customers are buying turtles that will not eat or become sick shortly after being shipped. When baby turtles are born in the wild they will eat worms, crickets, slugs, fish, and water plants. If baby turtles are only fed commercial turtle food while in captivity the likelihood of them going weeks without eating will increase. After you receive your hatching start them on small Mealworms and Superworms. Make sure they have the proper lighting and basking area setup in their enclosure. Add a teaspoon of Aquarium Salt to the water every time the water is changed and the little guys should prosper just fine. See our turtle farm Photo Gallery	Scroll down to see more!
