Hermit Crabs
Coenobita pelatus also known as (Strawberries) have started to surface in the United States. Reptile City is the first dealer to have these available to customer nationwide. We have shipped a handfull to other dealers but most are going to be kept for our long-term research at our facility. Strawberries are found widely in the tropical Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea to Samoa. Since these are so rare, Reptile City is only selling a small number of strawberries to our retail consumers. We hope to optain enough feedback which, then will be compiled for a book which will be written about their experience with pelatus.
