Frogs & Toads
A 10 or 20 gallon tank is good for amphibians but larger groups will need a much larger area. Use 2 to 3 inches of a potting soil/sand mixture over a layer of gravel for drainage as a substrate. Create shelters with slabs, driftwood, hollow logs, clumps of damp moss, and sturdy live or artifical plants for the frog. Provide a shallow water pan for drinking and soaking. Keep temperatures in the tank between 74 and 86 degrees during the day and 65 degrees to 72 degrees at night. Feed crickets, mealworms, butterworms, earthworms to frogs and toads.
